This experience sparks sisterhood with local titleholders and creates confidence that can last a lifetime! "There is always a little girl looking up to you", mine was Savannah—my first Little Sister.
Savannah smiled ear to ear, the first time we met! In the quietest voice, she shared that I was beautiful and she was confident that I would win. This melted my heart and from that moment on, I knew I couldn’t let her go!
We created memories doing crafts and practicing cartwheels at the local library. My favorite moment comes from Miss Minnesota Week 2023. We shared pizza, had matching bracelets, and danced my competition nerves away with “Shake It Off”—her infectious joy was the best part.
Having her as my first Little Sister made an everlasting mark on my Miss Minnesota journey & life!
